My Guatemalan Experience
Assisting Cooperative for Education (COED)in beautiful Guatemala was a life changing experience. Selected to represent my church, St. Albert the Great, which sponsored a school, I assisted in delivering Spanish textbooks to impoverished schools that have never had books. It’s COED’s hope that the country breaks its cycle of poverty through better education with the institution of self-sustaining textbook programs. This is my account of those busy & rewarding 11 days...
